A Shelf

Much like the previous bed design, this shelf was designed to be aesthetic and minimal. The utilization of lap-joints, between the horizontal and vertical pieces of the shelf, allowed for the elimination of any outward-facing hardware. A keyhole-slot was placed in the upper end of each of the two vertical supports to secure the shelf to the wall. Each piece was made out of three-quarters inch thick red oak and finished with Danish Oil.
